1966 Volkswagen wasting away!

Hi everyone! A friend of mine has a VW that's sliding of into the bayou. Not sure what year it is, but it looks like a '66. Worth saving? Several other '50s cars are almost completed buried and washing away.

That's an absolute shame. I think it may be a '68 or '69 if the seats, radio and bumpers are correct.

I saw that one. It was buried fairly deep and the guy must have really wanted it to go to so much trouble retrieving it.
