Bonnet pull

Where is the bonnet pull on a 66 mine was just a cable with a thing you pull. Is it in the clove box like later beetles ?

LHD models it's just to the left of the steering wheel under teh dash (so between wheel and door). I'd guess RHD models it's the opposite side, but I've never looked, to be honest.

:D spot on there, thats where my RHD 66 Bonnet lever is located.,
