FOR SOME REASON I CAN'T FOR THE DEVIL RELEASE THE HOOD LOCK ON MY 66 SEDAN. HAVE DAMN NEAR PULLED THE RELEASE CABLE OUT OF THE RETAINER, AND HAVE HAD HELP TRYING TO BOUNCH OR JAR THE HOOD LOOSE.....NO LUCK. HAS WORKED FINE UP UNTIL NOW.
ANY IDEAS SHORT OF DRILLING OUT THE HANDLE WOULD BE A LIFE SAVER.

My first suggestion is to turn off the caps lock. :lol:

You should have someone hold the release while you try yanking up on the handle. If this doesn't work, the only solution is to saw the handle in half and unscrew the handle halves from the hood.
