Tight steering?

I just bought a 66 vert and I have a problem I am hoping you guys can help with. It is stock suspension with new shocks, ball joints, steering stabilizer, and steering box. My problem is that the steering is tight and doesnt return straight when driving. I know it isn't the steering box because I completely took it out and the steering was still tight. Any suggestions?

everthing greased up? My first guess is your steering stabilizer is wonky. Disconnect that and see if makes a difference. If so, replaace it, maybe you got a bum one.
