ground clearance of a 66

Can anybody tell me where I can find information on the stock ground clearance of a 66? With all the information available out there i was hoping it would easier to locate.

Depends on your wheels and tires. I can tell you the correct torsion settings for the rear suspension, that's 17 degrees 30 minutes for short swing axle as recommended by VW. '66 sits slightly lower in the rear stock than the front. I never measured my before I lowered it though so I'm afraid I can't tell you 100%

fatal, where do you get the 17 degrees.

I woudl like to get an idea also. since my Daughters we want to do maybe 1 click in rear probably outer, and the front about 1/2 lower than rear for a slight rake.

But in process fo stripping car, and woudl eb nice to know where to start. and how to start.

My VW repair manual. I believe it's also in the Bentley book, and the front spec should be as well.
