Headlight Pull Switch?

I've searched the forums but don't see this one anywhere. Suddenly my Light Pull-Switch will not push in past the first stop. Anyone else experience this and what might be the fix? Thanks!

if contact cleaner sprayed on it won't cure it, time for a replacement.

I did go ahead and get a new switch. When I looked at the old one there was a little copper piece that looked like it was maybe supposed to inhibit the switch from rotating 360 degrees but had come loose and settled in behind the stem of the switch and would not allow it to push in all the way. New switch works fine.
