Dumb question - can't remember where it goes

OK everyone, this is a dumb question. I took the engine apart to hone and rering it. Have it put together but found a tube that looks like some kind of heat sheild tube for something that I can not figure out where it goes. Can someone tell me where it might go?

I has to be for some wires or something to sheild it from the heat.

Need your expert advise of where this goes. It is the 1300 engine.
