OK so I got my spindles put on and when I ordered them it said they needed tie rod ends for a later model so I ordered them also. Turns out I didn't need them. When I was working on the car I did notice that one of the inner tie rods was worn. My question is are these the same on both ends? Should I be able to use this on the inside as long as the threads are the same hand?
thanks

Yes but with an explanation.
They are the same as long as the threads go in the right direction, and it's the tierod type that has two removable ends on it! Some cars had non-removable tierod ends that were part of the tierods themselves (which were adjustable in the center). In fact on early cars, the short tierods weren't adjustable at all, and alignment was done at the long tierod.
Replacement tierods have removable ends and are interchangable with the older type.
