My Flash trim Bug

Finally got round to lowering the bug more, I'm now down to 2 splines on the rear, and as far as adjusters will go on the front, STILL the front doesnt appear to be as low as the rear but when you look underneeth, the lowest part of the bug is the roll bar/adjuster bolt thing!!!

Whilst dodging the rain i got a few pictures! Doesnt do the new lowering justice as the lowest / best part is the rear of the bug and i just missed it out, was panicin from the rain getting on my cam so just grabbed a few shots and got home

Heres my Dad , the mechanic in the house.. notchin my spring plates

On this pic. look in the centre of the image, up a bit and theres a black mark, and a dent!

Last wednesday was the club meet, here was the 5 dubs i cruised up with,
The blue 66 bus is my dads
the twotone grey is my friend daves. 60/15windows on most forums
the green and dark grey is a ex-swiss army bus
the 70's bug has been in my friends family since new, just been handed down, now for sale due to bay window being bought.

Wow thanks, not a pro but definately not a beginer!

I'm only 18 and I'm really trying to become a Pro. Along side VW, Photography is my #1 Passion so I really want it as a career

Hallo Benny,

sweet ride! If you plan on driving the car this low, you might want to consider replacing your rear wheel bearings with encapsulated ones. Otherwise you may end up with shot bearings before long, since the angle of the axle tubes will not allow enough oil to reach the bearings and they will run hot.

Been there, done that

By the way - i'm back to stock height. Just got tired of hearing my oil pan screeching on the tarmac.

Cheers! Got a few bits to change so thanks for the tips. I've had huge trouble getting a job since I've finished school and affording stuff is tight. But got an interview soon and then hopefully i could buy the stuff to make sure its a suitible DD.
