im Simon, im 16 and just got a 1966 two tone Blue and cream Beetle
this beetle was assembled in Australia as a kit car, therefore the VIN is not what most of yours is, mine starts with 196. and i have the high beam switch on the floor (next to clutch).
still it is a great car, it has had an engine change and now has a 1830cc instead of the original although the 1300 badge is still there
i love it and as probably one of the youngest 66 owners on here don't worry i will take care of her.
