Correct Radio??

Hello anyone:

Would someone in the know tell me the correct VW radio that goes in the '66 and if anyone knows where I might be able to get my hands on one?

The Sapphire III is the correct radio for the 66 model year (This is a 6 volt radio). Go to the classified section at www.thesamba.com and I'm sure you will find one there. eBay is also a good place for finding them.

Hope you found your Sapphire 3 radio.
There are a few being advertised in Samba now. Most of them are untested but occassionally you can get one in good working condition.
I have been buying from Samba for the past 3 years and its a great site for VW parts esp when you want OG ones.
I have just also bought a rather rare 66 Bug Owner's Manual at a reasonably good price and its on its way to me.
