Two post lift , lifting points ?

I have the rear figured out on lifting my 66 and 67 beetles.
but what do you folks think on the lift with a two post lift
on the front underside? anyplace under the firewall?
If I have to hit towards the middle this make the columns
only 100 inches apart. please advise !

Oh, this is a Maxjax Lift that I am about to be drilling the holes for
in my garage tomorrow. :-)
