Body Off Question

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post and I have had a bit of a search and couldn't find an answer so please forgive me if this has been asked before.

I am currently starting a body off restoration and would like to ask any members with experience if it is advised to weld support struts when taking the body off of a 1966 beetle sedan.

Any comments and thoughts welcome.
I'll get a worklog up when I can compile the photos off both cameras.

Only if the lower side members/heater channels will be cut out for replacement. If the body is solid structurally, there's no need to add braces.
