I have no issues with the heat in my '66. Even Texas can get quite cold in the winter. It usually takes about two to three miles before I can feel the heat coming out of the center defrost port. Gosh, I may have that buried somewhere in my shop. I will need to look. I believe it was like the one pictured but black. I'll let you know once I get things straightened away out there - It's a mess!
