Where is the bonnet pull on a 66 mine was just a cable with a thing you pull. Is it in the clove box like later beetles ?

My Good Old 66 Restoration Project!
Finally a 66 beetle to restore, These are just a few images on our progress so far. This beetles originally bahama blue and thats our plan to get it back to, Engine size is 1641 and the previous owner spent £600 on the engine.
