Correct Radio ?

Hey gang. what was supposed to be the correct Sapphire Radio for
the 66 like 1,2,3,4,5, what ever.
I am thinking it was the Sapphire II

Now to find the correct one some day

According to this site, the 6 volt Sapphire III (AM) and IV (AM/FM) would have been stock dealer installed radios.

The operative words are "dealer installed." So the correct radio would have been whatever the dealership had in stock.

never had a stock radio, still have the original factory face place
in the hole, I hate to remove it.. so I might just do something in

the Glove box. but I like to looks of the older radios.
