check th generator 12 volt would be a bosch gn15 I believe a 6volt is a gn11 The 6 volt starter should work fine on twelve volts it just spins fasterjust dont crank it too long and overheat it

Thanks Im guessing the previous owner swapped for a later model wiper motor when he converted it to 12 volt.It has a two speed with a rotary switch instead of a pull switch.Its a mid production car dec65 116517579

I had thought 66 only came with single speed wipers but mine has 2 speed.Not complainin just wondering if those would be correct.Seems to have the original switch and everything

the only place ive seen that offers a 66 specific door panels or seats is lenny copp at west coast classic rest.(classicvws.com)not perfect but thats all ive found
