0r...When you cut it apart, you remove the inside moving parts, Plunger?
and reinstall it, so the end fuel port is open?

Hello, I just found that I have a 1967 Solex 30 pict 1 carb...Not a 1966! Electro-Magnetic Pilot jet valve ( Idle Cut-Off ) This was Introduced in 67 Not 66. its a 12 volt part that stops the Fuel Flow once the Key Switch is Turned Off...Anti-Dieseling Device.
