Okay. I think I figured it out. Pan is 116 and 97% of body is 1966. Motor is matching F1.3L. Front apron behind spare was cut off and small portion with VIN tag is 115 = 1965. I found a 1966 bug with a matching VIN on the pan and motor. However, the VIN under the trunk is 1965. However, there are signs of the 1966 body like the defrost vent on the dash. The pan VIN is October 1965 production and the nose VIN is February/March 1965. I see no signs of welding. Has anybody s...
