Installed a set of Wolfsburg West runningboards & some German bumpers (front & rear) along wit a set of Flat-4 BRMs. Rolling gear is finished off with a 3 3/4-inch narrowed beam fitted with 15x5 wrapped in 145x15s, rears are 15x6 wrapped in 205/65x15s

Just two more junky old VWs. One's a 1947 sedan that has been restored. The other a 1956 Kabriolett I got from Sweden. The vert is still awaiting restoration

It's been nearly 14 months since I've worked on the old vert & the wife is starting to ask questions like "I thought you were going to rebuild that car for me?" With the '11 NFL season coming to a close & spring 2012 just around the corner, I think I'm ready to really start the cars restoration. Stay tuned.....
Wow! Thanks for the pictures!! Did you have to do any modifications to fit your narrowed beam of 3-3/4"? It looks awesome on that very! I am putting a narrowed beam on one of my 66's, and want to go narrow as possible without major mods. Thanks!
